Renaissance Wailea Beach Resort Hotel - Hawaii
Snorkeling haven for loyal, returning guests Flanked by excellent swimming and snorkeling beaches, this stylish resort in the exclusive Wailea community is well-loved by returning guests for its beauty and services, and as a gateway to a relaxing and rejuvenating Hawaiian vacation. Elegantly appointed guestrooms feature cream-colored wicker furniture and pearl-gray upholstery, with down pillows and comforters. Lanais offer splendid views of the dormant volcano Haleakala—which rises at the resort's rear—lush gardens, or the ocean. Three championship golf courses and 11 tennis courts (three lighted) are five minutes away via complimentary shuttle. But the resort’s most popular activities are snorkeling in and around the coral reef in front of the hotel, and viewing the phenomenal variety of aquatic life.

AMENITIES & SERVICES
What to expect: Opened in the early 1980s, this mature but smaller-scale resort offers warm, personalized hospitality exemplified by heartfelt annual reunions of long-time staff and returning guests. Devoid of glitz, the resort appeals to guests seeking luxurious ease, comfort, and value, and the true Hawaiian spirit. From the gorgeous gardens and grounds, to the popular restaurants, to the front desk and concierge, the resort exhibits mastery of detail and unobtrusive service. Amenity highlights: Three nights weekly at sunset near the ocean, a bountiful luau and Polynesian revue fills and thrills guests; daily, a health/massage spa and separate beauty spa provide pampering while children attend the resort's day camp. Insider tip: A romantic stroll along the path and across the wooden bridges to the lagoon garden's falling-water sounds, fragrance, koi ponds, and flowering lilies is magical right after dawn.
Shuffleboard, table tennis, and oceanside massage typify the 345-room, four-wing resort's restful ambience. The separate health/massage and beauty spas also contribute to relaxation. Padded lounge chairs around the pool represent the attention to comfortable detail that brings guests back annually.
